The location is convenient right on the beach. Live music at the bar was enjoyable. Rooms are outdated and need maintenance. The staff could be more attentive, especially during check-in.

Beach access is amazing, and the pool area is nice for relaxing. Some amenities were under renovation during our stay. The live music and happy hour were enjoyable. Just a heads up— air conditioning was quite loud in our room.

The beach access was just a hop away, making it super easy to soak up the sun! The pool was heated and perfect for all ages — the kids loved it! I can’t forget to mention those delicious piña coladas crafted with real fruit at the beach bar; total game changer!

The beach access is fantastic and the pool is surprisingly relaxing. Staff members are genuinely friendly and the complimentary cabanas are a nice touch.
The place definitely needs some cosmetic work.

I was shocked to find out our room was only cleaned every three days! For three nights, my family and I had to deal with a messy space and a malfunctioning TV remote. It really put a damper on our trip.

Dolphin Beach Resort boasts an excellent beachfront spot and spacious, clean rooms. The tiki bar atmosphere is inviting, but the outdated facilities need attention. While staff interactions varied, the early check-in and nearby shopping made for a pleasant stay overall.

The room was spacious and offered a lovely pool and ocean view after our upgrade. The bed was comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. the noise from other guests was a bit disruptive. Temperature control was effective, keeping the room cool and pleasant. The pocket door to the bathroom made it tricky to keep closed, which was a bit annoying. We did experience some maintenance issues, like a leaky ceiling. the room had potential but could use some attention for a smoother stay. Beach towels were available daily, which was a plus.

Incredible location right on the beach, perfect for watching sunsets from the balcony. The tiki bar offered a great atmosphere, and the staff at the front desk were exceptionally helpful. our oceanfront room had a ripped rug, a mildew smell, and persistent air conditioning issues that soaked our clothes. Daily essentials were sparse, but the restaurant was convenient for breakfast. The pool area definitely needed attention—water was dirty and uninviting. With some attention to room upkeep and service consistency, this place could be fantastic.

Parking fees and the resort fee feel steep given the lack of upscale services. There's potential here, especially with the beautiful beachfront. Improvements in maintenance and staff training could elevate the experience significantly.

The hotel sits right on the beach with amazing views of the sunset, and I loved that there were plenty of restaurants and a grocery store just a few steps away, making it easy to grab a bite or stock up on snacks for the room, plus the pool area was a nice spot to relax and unwind, but the interior could definitely use a little updating to match the fantastic surroundings.

Just came back from a fun city getaway! Loved the beach view from our room and enjoyed having a poolside cabana all day. It was super convenient to be able to rent paddleboards at a discount since we were staying here. The room had all the essentials - microwave, mini-fridge, and even a coffee maker for my morning brew. Housekeeping was on point, keeping everything clean, and the staff were all super friendly and accommodating.
There were a couple of downsides, like a lingering metallic smell in the bathroom and a door that didn't close properly. Also, noise from other guests carrying music and running in the halls was a bit disruptive.

The location is right on the beach, making it perfect for romantic walks at sunset. Enjoyed great happy hour deals at the bar and tried some amazing local seafood just a short walk away.
It wasn't the most affordable option, but the experience made it worth it.

We loved the prime location right on the beach. The large room and heated pool made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The peaceful courtyard and nearby attractions added to the wonderful experience. We'd recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed the beachfront location, perfect for a romantic getaway. The pool was relaxing and not crowded, with a daily $15 credit for food and drinks , a nice touch. Being close to shops and restaurants made exploring easy and fun.
The resort needs maintenance , encountered issues with room doors and cleanliness. Slow check, in process, often out of stock on drinks.

Sadly, the lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room was a bit disappointing, especially as I enjoy having a hot drink in the morning. The garden furniture outside was a lovely touch, providing a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. the bathtub was a bit outdated and could benefit from some renovation to enhance the overall experience. I appreciated the free toiletries provided, making it convenient who may have forgotten their own. One area that could use improvement is the outdated carpeted floors in the room. A change to more modern flooring would definitely elevate the space. Although laundry facilities were available, I found them to be a bit dated and in need of some maintenance. the welcome drink upon arrival was a nice touch, setting a hospitable tone for the stay. The tours and ticket assistance offered by the hotel were helpful in planning activities during my visit. I also enjoyed the happy hour specials at the bar, a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. Dolphin Beach has its charms, but there are areas that could use some updates.

we stayed at dolphin beach resort and had a great experience. the staff was friendly and the location was very close to the beach. the pool and beachfront access were convenient, and we enjoyed the live music and karaoke. the room was clean and spacious, and we liked using credit at the bar and restaurant. the cabanas on the beach were awesome, and the food and drinks at flippers bar were great. overall, it was a good place for enjoying a beach vacation within a budget.
For us, it was ideal. 😊

love the clean rooms and beachfront location. we were so close to crabby bills - the frog pond, and sandbar bills who treated us like royalty. the friendly staff are always happy to help, and the small resort vibe is cozy. the tiki bar on the beach is a great touch, and the cornhole games and shuffleboards are a lot of fun.

My friends and I had a blast trying out windsurfing and stand-up paddle boarding at North Beach Windsurfing! The resort's location was super convenient for exploring Busch Gardens and Tampa Bay. We even spotted some dolphins on an Adventure Cruise - so rad!
Would've loved more nightlife options for young party animals like us! .

All hotel amenities are conveniently connected, including the historic Post Office. The staff helped me plan my event and the beachside restaurant was delightful. A bustling resort in the heart of excitement.

Despite the tremendous inconvenience of my stay, there were a few positives. The front desk staff, Nancy and Rita, were incredibly helpful and the waitresses, Marcia and Rita, provided outstanding service in the restaurant. Michelle from housekeeping went above and beyond to ensure cleanliness. The beds were comfortable, which was a rare relief during this nightmare.
The lack of washing machines available and their frequent out-of-order status was a major letdown, adding unnecessary stress to my stay.

I chose Dolphin Beach Resort for its proximity to the beautiful Floating Water Park, and I was pleasantly surprised by the helpful catering staff and the fantastic local cuisine at Flipper's Beach Bar. The beachfront dining and parking facilities were also impressive.
Rooms need a little updating.
